Arabian Nights for one please!

Hi! Welcome to my first blog and my first blog page! I am really excited to share my experiences with you: all of them; the good, the bad, and the ugly. Believe me there is plenty of everything to entertain and to hopefully inspire you to take a plunge into an unknown world where the future is uncertain but certainly entertaining! My goal is to inspire you to live your best life by losing the fear to live....truly LIVE!

Who am I? I am an almost middle aged American girl born to a Cuban mom and Egyptian dad. I am basically an American mutt and I have always loved traveling and dreaming and helping others. This is why I am a Licensed Psychotherapist over 20 years ago. I am passionate about what I term "Living Sensually". What this basically means is that I realized through my many years of life and practice, that we are happier when we stay in the present and when we focus on what is going well in our lives rather than magnifying what is missing. The easiest way to do this is by connecting to our senses.....you know that feeling when you really...truly look at a sunset or when you pay attention to the words of your favorite song. Oh my God and don't forget that feeling you get when you're caressed by someone you love! Those are all small examples of living sensually. It's a spark! A connection to your Source.

The way I connect to my senses the most, is through travel and being around water. Soooooooo, I decided to blog about living sensually through my travel! This has been years in coming and I have battled many of my own anxieties in order to do what activates me. Come join me in my travels! Sometimes I push my limits and I travel solo, sometimes with my teenagers and other times with groups. All in all, you can imagine how many escapades I can get myself and others into!

Last month, I went and fell in love. I didn't want to do it but it was impossible to resist him. His name? Morocco!!! I went on a solo trip to Morocco and Spain and I cannot stop drooling over Morocco!

Picture this: it’s a full moon, desert sands, Levantine winds, a bonfire and heart swings, candlelight dinner under the starry skies. What image does this invoke? Arabian nights, romance, mystery and .......

I wanted the desert experience! I knew it would be shared with couples from all over the globe. I had a choice…..go and possibly feel awkward or stay and let my anxiety and unconscious programming win. I decided to go! Here’s a recap of my adventure. I had a romantic date with myself and my camel 👸🏻❤️🐪 and would do it all over again. The Agafay desert experience is a must do!

It all cost less than 30.00 and dinner was included. Was it safe? Apart from a few offers to date me, I was safe and okay! Everyday we have a choice….listen to our fears or go out and live! I hope you go out and live 💕. Would you go to Agafay alone?
